Качество жизни измеряется количеством счастья. Или покоя. В Швеции и в Швейцарии люди не лезут на Марс. И живут там, живут благополучно и счастливо.

Я больше не болею космосом. Зачем мне нужен Марс, когда я иду выносить мусор и вижу людей, которые роются в контейнерах? Мои восторги немедленно исчезают. Почему я должен восторгаться тем, что на Марсе есть жизнь, когда у нас жизни нет для людей?

Чем лучше у человека становятся условия для работы, тем хуже он начинает работать.

Вакансия веб-разрабочика

Москоммерцбанк (где я работаю с июня, и откуда скоро ухожу на новый проект) ищет веб-разработчика, с опытом создания веб-сервисов и веб-приложений на современных технологиях - PHP/Python/Java (как-минимум что-то одно), HTML/CSS/JavaScript (желательно все - верстать некому).

Плюсы:
- офис рядом с м. 1905 года
- рабочий день с 9 до 18 - сразу научитесь рано просыпаться :))))
- оформление по ТК РФ
- зарплата от 50 000 рублей на руки (верхняя планка зависит от квалификации)
- неплотный рабочий график - можно поизучать новые технологии
- хорошее начальство

Минусы:
- поскольку это банк, то разработчику тут скучновато - медленные процессы, не самые новые технологии (но вполне реально внедрить новые, например я написал веб-приложение на Python+Django)
- большие стационарные компьютеры с Windows (но можно приносить свой ноут)
- рано или поздно придется серьезно вникать в устройство банковских информационных систем (как хранятся счета, карты, депозиты и тп)

Тем не менее, вполне реально набраться опыта, сделать что-то полезное и получить за это хорошие деньги. Кому интересно - пишите мне на roman.vorushin@gmail.com

Отчетливо помню как осенним прохладным павлодарским вечером я стоял на автобусной остановке "Счастье" и приходил в себя после первого волшебного контакта с компьютером. Это была Yamaha с зелено-черным экраном, 64 килобайтами памяти и встроенным интерпретатором языка MSX-Basic.

Девятый класс, 1994 год, прошло 15 лет :)))))

Автобусная остановка действительно называлась "Счастье" - по названию большого магазина "Счастье", который находился напротив остановки.

И программирование действительно подарило мне много счастья :))))) Классе в 10-11 я думал что переболел этой болезнью, но нет - оказалось что это уже на всю жизнь!

Религия, которую я бы принял с удовольствием :))))) Вот, к примеру, пастафарианские моральные стандарты:

1. Лучше бы ты не вёл себя как самовлюблённый осёл и святоша, когда проповедуешь Мою макаронную благодать. Если другие люди не верят в Меня, в этом нет ничего страшного. Я не настолько самовлюблён, честно. Кроме того, речь идёт не об этих людях, так что не будем отвлекаться.

2. Лучше бы ты не оправдывал Моим именем угнетение, порабощение, шинкование или экономическую эксплуатацию других, ну и сам понимаешь, вообще мерзкое отношение к окружающим. Я не требую жертв, чистота обязательна для питьевой воды, а не для людей.

3. Лучше бы ты не судил людей по их внешнему виду, одежде, или по тому, как они говорят. Веди себя хорошо, ладно? Ах да, и вбей это в свою тупую башку: Женщина — это личность. Мужчина — это личность. А зануда — это всегда зануда. Никто из людей не лучше других, за исключением умения модно одеваться — извини уж, но Я одарил в этом смысле только женщин и лишь кое-кого из парней — тех, кто отличает пурпурный от пунцового.

4. Лучше бы ты не позволял себе действий, неприемлемых для тебя самого или твоего добровольного и искреннего партнёра (достигшего допустимого возраста и душевной зрелости). Всем несогласным предлагаю идти лесом, если только они не считают это оскорбительным. В таком случае они могут для разнообразия выключить телевизор и пойти прогуляться.

5. Лучше бы ты не боролся с фанатическими, женоненавистническими и другими злобными идеями окружающих на пустой желудок. Поешь, а потом иди к этим сволочам.

6. Лучше бы ты не тратил уйму денег на постройку церквей, храмов, мечетей, усыпальниц во имя прославления Моей макаронной благодати, ведь эти деньги лучше потратить — выбирай, на что:
- на прекращение бедности
- на излечение болезней
- на мирную жизнь, страстную любовь, и снижение стоимости Интернета.

7. Пускай Я и сложноуглеводное всеведущее создание, но Я люблю простые радости жизни. Кому, как не мне знать? Ведь это Я всё создал.

8. Лучше бы ты не рассказывал всем окружающим, как я говорил с тобой. Ты не настолько всем интересен. Хватит думать только о себе. И помни, что я попросил тебя любить своего ближнего, неужели не дошло?

9. Лучше бы ты не поступал с другими так, как хочешь, чтобы поступили с тобой, если речь заходит об огромном количестве латекса или вазелина. Но если другому человеку это тоже нравится, то (следуя четвёртой заповеди) делай это, снимай на фото, только ради всего святого — надевай презерватив! Ведь это всего лишь кусок резины. Если бы Я не хотел, чтобы ты получал удовольствие от самого процесса, Я бы предусмотрел шипы или ещё что-нибудь в этом роде.

1. На сайте http://zen.ru нашел, скачал и вчера в метро прочитал офигенно тормошащую повесть "Пробуждение"
2. В блоге Simon Wilson нашел ссылку на отличную статью "Working hard is overrated" - (автор - соосновательница Flickr)
3. В блоге "Signals vs. noise" сегодня - видео "UI Design for Programmers". Прекрасное выступление, прекрасные ссылки на книги!

Волшебный 226й "Аэростат" - Knife

"Некоторое время тому назад мне чудесным образом свалилась с неба в руки музыка коллектива под названием The Knife, то есть попросту - "Нож".
Я послушал, удивился и полез в Интернет узнавать -кто такие. Выяснилось , что Knife - это брат с сестрой из Швеции: Олоф Дрейджер (Olof Dreijer) и Карин Дрейджер Андерссон (Karin Dreijer Andersson). Само собой, Олоф жмет на кнопки, а Карен поет. Но получается очень ни на что не похоже, как будто их песни спеты существами из других измерений, просто играющими в то, что они как будто бы люди.
Но такая уж удивительная страна - Швеция. Несмотря на свою странность, The Knife пользуются там огромным успехом: в 2003 году они были признаны лучшей поп-группой, в 2006 их альбом "Молчаливый Крик" оказался лучшим альбомом, а на церемонии Grammy в январе 2007 они выиграли во всех категориях: "Композитор года", "Музыкальное DVD года", "Продюсер года", "Поп-группа года", "Альбом года" и "Артист года".
Только вот забирать свои призы на церемонию они не пришли."
